Default Modded the Z06 today! ZR! rims and more!

ZR1 rims in C6 Z06 sizes and did the muffler mod on the stock mufflers.

Looks nice. I'm curious about the ride going to the ZR1 rims. Did it get any harsher??

ride is a tad stiffer but you only feel it when braking. Otherwise the car feels great.

Wheel sizes are the same because he went with after market wheels (18/19)...

That would be pretty impossible since the wheel sizes haven't changed.

The only thing that would change the ride would be the tires in this case.

well seat of the pants says it's stiffer. It might have to do with the additional support the ZR1 rim. The ZR1 rim has more area of support than the Zo6 rim along with the hub area seems more solid as well. Maybe or maybe not just my feeling since i am driving on them.

It would ride harder with the heavier aftermarket wheels. I'm sure they are heavier than the stockers, and would change the ride characteristics
