ZR1 Wheels - Which Sizes?
I'm thinking of adding Chrome ZR1 wheels to my 06 LMB Z06. I've already done the ZR1 spoiler and ZR1 front splitter. Question is should I go with repo ZR1 wheels in Z06 sizes/offsets (18x9.5 & 19x12) or go to Bob @ House of Wheels for some OEM ones (19x10 & 20x12).
What do you guys think looks better? Any pics of guys out there with both on their cars today?

Generally, the OEM Speedlines are better quality, have less runout, and balance easier than the aftermarket wheels. Most of the aftermarket wheels come from China and they are cast aluminum.
Another factor is to look at the tires you are going to run. This will be a major cost driver in your decision.
My 05 Coupe was LeMans Blue. In my opinion, chrome wheels work extremly well with LMB. It just makes the color pop.

I just put the stock chrome wheels off my ZR1 onto my MSM Z-06 today. Those ZR wheels look great on the Z-06.

What is the difference in acceleration, braking &/ handling going from stock '06 Z06 18/19s with GYs to ZR1 19/20s with PS2s since the latter weigh more?

I put the 19/20 OEM ZR1 chrome wheels on mine 07 Lemans Blue Z .....
I like them better then the 18/19's.....
There seems to be moe sets of these for sale both new and tradein/used.....
OEM is comforting for quality......

The Michelins are quieter, smoother and grip better. And the stock ZR1 sized wheels look great on the Z-06.
I didn't think to weigh each of them when I had the chance. Not sure of the weight difference.

no new pics yet...
none yet, I snapped these with my iPhone after a quick wash then pulled it inside. They are the 19/20 ZR1 Speedline rims with the Michelin tires from Tirerack.com.
