Your C6 Z06 Insurance?
Surprised there was not too much on insurance discussions on the C6 Z06 when using the search feature. I'll inquire.
State Farm in Forida has been on the pretty high side and it "might" be time for a switch.
For a Z06 that is not a daily driver.
What is the general consesus - did you stay with known firms or go smaller? Who do you have for insurance on your Z06?
- Stay with big companies like State Farm or AllState? regardless
- Call the locak insurance broker and let them find your best price for insurance coverage wanted?
- NCM insurance advertises here a lot - worth it?
- Or go with one of those collectable outfits where ya can only drive it 500 miles /yr or something like that?
Thanks

Depends on where you live. Everyone I know is jealous that I pay $175 a month for my Z06 and am 25/male/single.
But then again, look where I live...that's a good deal!

Keep an eye on 'em. I switched to Geico a few years ago because they were much cheaper then Progressive. With in the next year and a half the premium more then doubled for no reason. Now Im with Allstate. I should have just stayed with Progressive. I was with them about 15 years with no problem.

A lot really depend's on where you live. I live in a Detroit area suburb, and not to bad. The next community a few miles over with lot's of commercial building's/traffic, a whole nother thing. Equifax's "lower my bills" site is a good one for lot's of responses. I have an older car on a collector policy, and will allow adding a newer model, but are limitation's. I'm currently with Allstate for two main car's and home for about $2400/yr. Had a bad wreck in my daily car last year, and pretty much fell all over themselves paying all the bump shop field requote's and EMT bill's. Safe driver rating stayed intact, and my deductible even dropped $100 buck's the next year. The big guy in the commercial's isn't lying. Only mention this, as some bargain places may not be there when you really need them.

After almost 40 years of buying all my home and car insurance through Nationwide I just switched to State Farm. State Farm is saving me over $1700 per year between our home and cars. I'm sure I could have found cheaper insurance but at this point I'm very pleased.
