I have tried everything in these threads but I can't get it to go into fob training mode in the dic. New batteries in the current working fob and the used fleabay fob. Any suggestions?

Also of course I followed the cars user manual instructions on page 2-5/6

No DIC message comes up at all. No rust or any signs of water damage to the fleabay fob. Should I be thinking the fob doesn't work?

...have you tried the OEM FOB to see if system will accept it for programming; this may isolate the problem in a general direction...good luck...LT
