Default C6 Z06 Window Valet....

$139.99 shipped....No Group Purchase needed...

More info on the Window Valet and ordering below.

Corvette Window Valet

What is a Window Valet? The Window Valet plugs into the OBD port underneath the steering wheel. Once plugged in, it gives you remote control of your windows (a must for vert owners), three click of the unlock button on the Key FOB and the windows roll down. Three clicks of the lock button and the windows roll up. Allows you to roll the windows up and down from a distance. On hot days, you can vent the car before you even get to it. This is just one of the Valet Features, several more listed at the link below..

Quick video that shows how it works...

i would be more interested if it could be programmed to lower the windows about 1 inch to vent and not turn the radio on.

to me this is nothing more than a toy to show off at a car show not a very useful feature in my DD car. i do have to park in the sun and the ability to vent the interior would be worth while.

With the valet, pressing the remote lock button three times when the windows are already up does lower the windows about half an inch to vent the car.

Thanks,
Dave

I have had one for three years and can't imagine doing without it. The main function I use is to roll the windows down prior to opening the hatch. My '08 is so air tight that without the windows open or a door open the hatch won't pop-up far enough to get a finger under it. I also have the alarm function programmed sp that if someone trys to open it when the doors are locked the horn beeps 3-times.

does it leave the radio off? does the radio only come on when you let them go all the way down?

Radio only comes on when you unlock the car, cracking the windows is locking the car for the second time so the radio stays off.

Once in a while, no matter how careful you are, someone will park close to you. Opening the door and tryinmg to get in around the window (and no, I am not big) is difficult. If you can roll the windows down it is no problem.

This is not a toy. You should try it out before you dismiss it.

I ordered one and it came in today. Installation as per the video shown in this post took only seconds and it works great. Living in Florida, it will be a real pleasure to let some of the heat out before getting into the car. Thanks, this is one of the best things yet that I have added to the car.

Was it this gadget or another that you could set an RPM that the car could not go over?
Say you went to a valet you could set 2500 rpm's and the car would not go over that?

Maybe I dreamt this or it is a feature I want.

Anyone?

You are probably thinking of this....but it does not limit, but will report the highest speed and RPM the car reached since the last time it was reset.

If you can add this feature I would be in as well :
unlock doors when engine is being shut off w/o being in reverse (what drives me nuts sometimes... That´s annoying.
