Asking $70,000 all paperwork and sticker shows it was 100,550 when he bought it new. Sounds fair, but a new 2015 with some nice goodies is less money. Kind of lost as I love both cars. Is that a good price for the (old/new) carbon? Think I could get him to move three or four less.

My $0.02 is that if you can get a Carbon with a 1000 miles on it for $70k (or even a little less) you should jump on it. Very special car.

Default What's it worth?

Thinking of selling #246, IO. A Canadian car with 300 numbered speedo.
Fresh AH port& polished heads with hardened guides and ARP studs. Car currently has just over 10k miles. What's a fair asking price?

Thank you for your 2 cents.. I'm thinking the same thing. Its a very nice car, has everything from when new and from the pictures, it is still new. Think he said #170 but I haven't seen the vin # yet to run anything. Just some very nice pictures. Even with the low production numbers, still concerned they won't hold value down the road. But as a driver and the look, they are KILLER.............. And that is what they are for!

There's one for sale right now in the Toronto area with 9500kms Canadian car #104. Asking $85k. According to his Autotrader posting its 1 of 2 allocated IO in Canada. Yours would be the 2nd. According to Dan Kane GM Dealer in Windsor Ontario only 13 Carbons were allocated to Canada. Mine also a Canadian car is 1 of 13 and 1 of 11 in SSB. #207

I wouldn't sell your car for less then $80k

Thanks for the reply. That kind of money would be nice but would certainly limit the potential market given the price of the C7 (Z51) given the relatively close performance along with new car warranty.

Took some thinking and begging on both ends, wife and dealer, but after three hours, the deal is done and did get it for three less! The new girl friend, IO #178 3LZ with 675 on the clock when I picked her up, is resting in Rio Rancho, NM today after prowling the wet streets of Phx and drove her home late last night. A nasty one she is!

New owner of #112 SSB Canadian Car. Bought it with 110 kilometers. Shipped the car from New Brunswick to Alberta. I saw this thread and thought I'd add the car to the list. I'm proud to own this car.

Wow 112kms Congratulations! Awesome and rare car. Being a Canadian car, you are 1 of 13 allocations to Canada.

From what I've heard only 2 of them are IO the rest SSB. Welcome to the club!

Thanks. Time will tell if the cars become sought after collectables. I think the C7 ZO6 are nice but like the body style of the C6 better than the Gen 7. I have always wanted the Carbon since they have such a low production run and are such a cool car. The decals were installed by the previous owner. I was thinking of removing the elevens but have since changed my mind. Car kinda looks badass with them on.

I really don't think the Canadian prices are relative to anyone in the US market. They are very rare in Canada and get a premium. Here in the US Zo7's and Carbons seem to be pretty consistent lately at 50-65 depending on mileage, condition with the Carbons fetching 3-5K more than Zo7's. Of course there are these very low mileage cars that will be higher and what someone will pay. I recently had a dealer friend with my exact car a 2011 black Zo7 w/ 14000 miles. He had a lot of interest, but struggled to sell at 57K in south Florida. And he is a dealer that offers financing and takes trades, a big selling point!

I have 20,000 miles with many upgrades, completely covered in 3M film since new, GMPP till 2019, and was just offered 49K while I was looking at a ZR1. Of course at 49K I would buy it!, which is why I wouldn't sell, as it is too special and the best vette I have owned. But I did think it was worth more and still do but when "Kelly blue" book says 49k it is an uphill battle.

Default carpet color

Due to heat on the tunnel the carpet is puckered and pulling away from the console so I am going to remove carpet put in heat material and put in new carpet. Does anyone know what color the carpet is, Black or Ebony ??

It's Ebony and mine is doing the same thing!
There's heat resistant material already under the carpet from what I could see on mine. I just think the carpet was cut too short. I was just thinking of trying some type of glue or 2 sided tape or something. It's about a 4" strip that sticks out from the center console near shifter.

Tried the two sided carpet tape, worked for about an hour. Seems the heat was just to much for it to hold. Looking at removing carpet and doing some heavy duty heat shielding material I found on ExoticVette web site and then new carpet. Talked to Mid-America Motorworks and they said they make the carpet once they get an order, am going to try and have them cut console side on both front pieces a little oversize so I can trim to fit.
