Default RED only Z06 pics!!!

So I've seen a few of these colour pic threads and hadn't seen one for red Corvette Z06's. Since my favourite colour for the C6 is red I figure I would start one and see if it picks up.

So lets see your stock and modified RED Z06's pics in here!

I just bought my 07 zo6 last week. This is the only picture I have of it now. I will post some after I give it a nice detail.

Me? Mine's a Motor City Mold hood - great for engine ventilation!

They are Forgeline ZX3P in stock sizes (18" & 19") and all, uncoated aluminum - not chrome. The barrels are powder coated black.

http://www.forgeline.com/products/pr...ries/zx3p.html

Contrary to popular stories, keeping them clean has NOT been a problem (at least not here in California.) I drive the car in the rain when I have to. It's my daily driver - 5 years old this Oct with 62k miles. The wheels have been on there for over three years and 35k miles.

The wheels get washed when the car does (every 2-3 weeks or so) and wiped down with a clean microfiber towel. Ditto brake dust - just a dry dusting off in between washes as needed with a microfiber towel that I set aside for that purpose (and a cotton work glove )

Polished (Mother's aluminum polish) and waxed (Wheel Wax) occasionally. Once a year or so I pull one wheel a week and give it a good going over on the workbench. A benefit to the raw aluminum is that if you scratch them you can sand, buff, and polish the metal back to new without having to mess with clearcoats and such. Nice.

Great quality wheels. They really work with the car & color.
