Default 2009 z06

I am selling my 2009 Z06 and am trying to come up with a fair private- party price.

It is loaded with titanium accented interior.
6100 miles in excellent condition.

Is $55,000 a fair price to sell locally in Midland, TX?

Thanks.

Loaded meaning a 3LZ? or ? I just bought my Z which is also a 2009 used with 10K miles and its a 2LZ with nav and chromes spyders for $54K. I think your price seems fair.

If it's a '09 with 6,100 miles and a 3LZ, what type wheels does it have? If it's stock wheels then I agree a good starting point is 55......like the guy above said he paid 54 for his and has a few more miles....but both are considered low miles. Less than 16-20k miles for a 2-3 year old car (depending on inservice date-could be '08)

good luck

That seems like a fair price for eveyone. I slipped a month ago and missed an oppurtunity to purchase a 2010 Z06 with 3LZ & Navi with 982 miles on it for $56750.00 Blew that one huh? Just could't completely wrap my mind on Yellow. Ended up buying 2007 Z06 with 2Lz & Navi with 15K miles in the high $39's. Well good luck

What confuses me is that you can get a brand new loaded Z in the 60k range...depends on the dealer and what not...so how would an 09 be worth 55?

brand new loaded 11 for 60k range with 3lz

2011 2lz or 3lz without z07- 67 to 70k and with z07 package 70-80k and with carbon limited edition - 85k+

54k to 58k is a fair price for the OP's 2lz Z.

2009's have posted the fastest zero to 150mph times - so that makes them worth a little more.

Do any of you read forums?

Look up this thread: Post #52
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...-vs-zr1-3.html
I was offered a new IO Z07, 3LZ with a MSRP of $93k for $67k
Here is the actual thread about it...notice is a 3LZ with Z07
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-z...reat-deal.html

Why are you guys bringing in a Z07 package, OP's car is an 09 which definitely doesnt have a Z07 package...

Here are some more...
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-d...chevrolet.html

I would rather have a brand new 2LZ than 09 with 3LZ and im sure most of you would agree...

You had a once in a lifetime deal at 67k for the Z07 (which was really used at it had miles on it and the warrenty had already started). That is not a normal price.

New 2011/2012 Z07's go for $85k+. Some people are specifically looking for the 3lz interior package. I know I wish I held out for it.

$55k is a reasonable price for a low mileage 09 2lz Z06. The same optioned car brand new (not left over and out of season from one specific dealer like you posted above) is $75k+

I was more asking what would make more sense...2011 2LZ with Nav(brand new) from forum sponsor ...or get a used 2009 and pay 55k to 57k(which is what they're going for)

"60k range" is a very broad number... There is quite a bit of differene from the op's low 50k area to your "60k range" and 67/69k that you're trying to prove people wrong with...
+ those are not near people all the time and require transportation fees, another 1-2k... Now factor in tt&l and you're looking at 75k at least...
So much for 60k for a brand new one.

OP If i were considering selling mine (09 2lz 2 tone, chrome split spokes) I would start at $56k and see what happens for a few weeks.
If I was desperate to sell it I'd go sell it to a dealer for 50 and not deal with any hassle.

That's all you took out of that? lol

That high 67/69 number is going to be that dealers bottom number. And you will only find that price at a handful of dealers around the country.
New could = up to $75-$76k after tt&l even at the dealers bottom price based off of your numbers that you posted..

The Op's bottom number could be 50-52..
So this one used could be easily $53-$58k after tt&l.... or find a different 09 for even cheaper..

Bit of a difference in price there($20k) is all I'm saying and you're naive if you can't see that.

OK this is what I was trying to understand. I think the OP's price is fair and reasonable. What I was struggling with was new loaded Z's for the $60K range does not compute with me as I have been looking. A 2LZ is not loaded to me. Maybe a once in a blue moon "well equipped" Z might be offered in the high $60K range which is still a great deal for what the car offers. I went in Kerbeck's website to price a Z06 and did not select Z07 or the centennial or carbon package and I was at $88K before they throw a ton of discounts at you. If I were to opt for those extra packages and then get my discounts I would likely be in the low 80's still. I priced out a loaded 12 Centennial edition Z06 without carbon brakes and I hit $100K while I was at Carlisle in August. Factor in discounts and how much would I drop. I was trying to figure out if it was worth selling my 08 to buy a 12 or drop a few bucks to make my 08 upgraded to that of a 12. I only have about 14K miles on my z now. The price difference is huge but if they told me in the $60's for a new one my car would have already been gone by now to move into a new one. Maybe I need to hang tight and I will find that lucky deal like you did. Cheers!

we should now look at auction prices and make those prices the norm to, while we are at it...this so retarded, just because one or two dealer on here decide to "move" a couple cars (thus droping the list price very low) does not make it the everyday price...yet some people think it is...maybe they should jump on them two cars and buy one of them...or are they just coming on this thread busting the op's ***** about his asking price...I believe there's a rule about that no?

Is this a for sale thread? NO! So no one is busting anyone's ***** here. Some of us just state what we think the car is worth.

At end of the day, its all about what someone is willing to pay for his car.

There is a 2011 Z, 3LZ, Z07 that was offered to me for $70 minus the extra $3k because I'm a current Vette owner. that equals a net of $67k. I turned it down because I still needed to cough up too much on a trade. But for someone without a trade, it was a great deal. So is an extra $12k worth it for a 2 year newer car, no miles, and loaded?

You guys are getting off track from what the OP's post was about. 55k is a good price.
