Bridgestones.
Reasonable price, good wet and cold traction. A bit quieter and smoother ride. Longer life than the stockers.

Default tires

FWIW

There are lots of opinions out and I elected to go with the michlens and so far been satisfied.. However, I have learned that these tires dont work really well on the drag strip And I was advised that before I made my purchase..

Bridgestones are the better all-around choice. I have 2 sets of rims. One with Michelins on them, and one with Bridgestones. I like the Michelins in warm weather, but they are terrible in weather below 40 degrees F.

NT05's are the best street tire imo for a corvette. They handle great, have amazing dry traction, do ok (not great) in the rain, and look the most aggressive

Unless you want to spend $2,000 on a set of Michelins. I run the NT05 in the 285/335 combo.

Dont laugh but i bought a set of general uhf they are non run flat and are amazing.I cannot compare them to the crappy good years the car had on it when i bought it.Amazing traction.Bought them of a guy who had just bought them four days prior ,and was returning his leased 07 z06,the dealer refused to accept the car without runflats .I paid seven hundred dollars for all four ,best tire purchase i could have made.

You have limited choices if you want runflats; the only other runflat choice is BStone.

I had Nitto NT05s on an '03 Cobra I just sold making 470whp, and I was very happy with them. Almost as good traction-wise as the 555Rs I had on previously, but without all the noise and rocks tossed on my car as the 555Rs. I've ordered a set for the Z, hoping to them on with the new wheels in a week or two.
