Anyone know what options will be new for 2013? I heard there was going to be a surprise. I almost ordered a 2012 but want to wait for '13. then if the C7 is all that and a bag of chips i'll trade in the C6Z If you have any info and don't want it public you can always PM me. just curious if they are goign to come out with a new wheel design, slight improvement on the interior, color HUD, etc.

I saw a photo the other day on another Vette site....it was supposed to be the C7.....I can say the way I felt about it was it may be a hit (with it's styling)
The side view and the lines in the body remind mee of lines on Porsche. The top of rear fenders and accross the rear deck remind me of Ferrari. The rear reminds me of new gen Camaro....thoses lights look just like the Camaro lights. I wanted to puke at that one.....
IMO, Vette should be unique in it's styling. The tail lights on the supposed pics were just like Camaro....HATED that part....but the rest I liked....and should appease some of euro desgin crowd.

actually GTR should be sold by next week. i thought the GTR would be a nice blend of the beauty of AWD and the power of my old Z. the car has been in the shop more than it has been in my garage. they ended up replacing the transmission on it. the car runs fine now but the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I just don't feel that it's 100k worth of fun. The car is almost too easy to drive. it's a 0-60 killer and that's about it. the Z is a real mans car and i miss the shifting. Was going to buy the white 2012 Z06 from boardwalk with the F55 pkg (sport cup wheels) but it sold. then a little birdie told me the 2013's will have a surprise so i'm wondering if anyone has any insight on what that may be. I do plan on buying a new Z06, and if the C7 is all that and a bag of chips i can always trade the C6Z in.

Love the white GTR....can the truck fit a set of golf clubs? I know it's a dumb requirement that I have for my sports cars, but if the trunk cannot fit my clubs than I have no interest in owning it. I looked at buying a Camaro SS for a daily beater and the trunk could not fit a set of clubs w/o folding the back seats down (not acceptable), so I had to find something else. The GTR would be held to the same requirement. Scary that you had transmission issues....good thing that bitch wasn't out of warranty. $20k up in smoke.

Ruby, if you have some indication about the 2013 Z, please send me a pm. dont need exact details, but if it's something like another new color then i'll order a 2012. if it's new wheels, or better interior, etc then i'll hold for a '13.

Color most likely, Interior highly unlikely since they just upgraded it in '12. I will very be surprised if GM comes up with anything else than a few decals before the C7 comes out. Just IMHO...

They'll probably finally release a stock calibration that takes advantage of these mysterious richer and richer AFRs and the 2013 LS7 will be rated at 525 hp, eternally p!ssing off every one of us with a preceding year. ;-)

It can be quite ambiguous, and varies from state to state, but two visits will do for safety related issues, 4 visits for the same re-occuring issues, and or 30 calendar days out of service within 18 months/18.000 miles.
