Default Shell Rotella T6 synthetic 5W 40 = good stuff

I've been using this oil since the day I got my Z06. Tracked it. Tracked it on the road course too. Seen good, lower oil temps, less engine noise compared to Mobil 1's 5w 30. If you run your car hard like I do. I highly reccommend this full synthetic oil.

I've been asking about this oil. Figured it has high anti wear additives. Nice to hear some positive feedback.

I run that oil and Walmart carries it too. I do notice the oil pressure is higher than Mobil1.

That's only a couple.

If you do more research. You will find nothing but good things about this synthetic oil.

I was looking for LS7's. I've posted UOA's for Castrol Edge and RLI.

I agree this is some real good oil. I also use it for my 2010 Z06, 2010 Viper ACR, and my 97 Viper GTS. I did notice less engine noise, and cooler oil temps on the track too..

Alot of sport bike racers, engine builders use this oil too. It also has higher ZDDP levels than any of the Mobil 1 oils.

Actually I learned recently that Rotella T6 is also rated for Gasoline Engines. It's a Heavy Duty Oil.

Are you still running it in your C6Z?
