Default Finally got my Halltech GT2 Dred Hood Painted - Titty Pink

Ok, not titty pink but victory red with a black outline around the carbon fiber.

Thanks to all that provided me references in the Columbus Ohio area. I decided to go with Brian at Jack Maxton. He did an amazing job. I could not be more pleased.

There are zero waves in the carbon fiber hood. It looks like an OEM piece, except for the waterfall.

Jim - exceptional hood!

Now I just need to get it installed.

Awesome!

Grab a buddy and do the install yourself! You're just threading a few bolts and centering the hood, aren't you?

How do you wash the car with that hood? Just let the water flood the engine bay?

Not a huge fan of red, but I like your car. Very nice! Think I might have changed my mind about red Vettes

Straight down to the ground behind the radiator.

Great looking hood. I think it'll fit your car nicely. Now, install it and show us some pictures

Do they replace the stock grill bezel itself?

Yes. The 4 piece lower valence from RaceMesh is an entire new stock grill bezel with the racemesh installed.

If you just order the standard one piece lower valence, RaceMesh just sends you the mesh to install over your existing grill bezel with zip ties.

There are 2 options for the 4 piece: I wanted the oem bezel left in tact with the racemesh applied over it. The other option is that they cut out 90% of the stock bezel and just leave sections of the bezel for securement of the mesh. I did not care for this approach.
