Default Plasti Diped my wheels! (ADV1)

I know this is going to draw some serious criticism but I think I can handle it. I have been toying with the idea of black wheels for a while now so I decided to "try" it out. I spent the better part of 6 hours cleaning, prepping and coating my wheels with Plasti Dip. This isnt a DIY or anything...purely informative.

Ill post up the final pics tomorrow. Its been raining all day here.

In case you havnt heard of Plasti Dip and you are under the impression that I just painted an $8k set of 3 piece forged wheels in my garage....the coating is kinda rubber like and just "peels" off when you donrt want it on there anymore. I hope it lasts about 2 weeks or so. Time will tell.

I would not have thought about using that on wheels but looks like it will work to give you the feel for black wheels on your car. As you mentioned, just peel it off. Did you spray it or brush it on? One pic looked as at was sprayed. That's thinking outside the box for sure.
