Default Great deal on a set of Daytona seats

I had a customer who bailed on a set of Daytona seats. Here is what the seats would look like
Daytona seats with carbon shells
Black leather with Grey Alcantara centers
Titanium stitching
Z06 logo on the headrest
The cost of these seats are $6375.00 and he will take $5000.00. I can ship these by next Friday. Here is a shot of the leather covers. Please pm me if you are interested.
John

I hate people that do stuff like that Having said that though that is a smoking deal for anyone that was on the fence about getting set! One of the single best upgrades that you can make to your car imho

Why? I'm not sure how this deal works, so if I'm wrong, let me know. As I understand it, John is NOT losing any $, the customer (aka seller of the seats) is. I assume the seller paid John already, and backed out, so he just wants to sell these at a lower price of $5000 to recoup some of the money that he paid to John.

Why, do you really have to ask something like that lol? Maybe I'm old fashioned or something but the way that I was raised is if you commit to something with someone you follow through. So if you order something, have it custom made to exactly how you want it including materials, colors, stitching etc. etc. then imho the selling party came through on their end and the buyer should come through on theirs, that is why. And John might not be loosing any money but he sure is going through a hell of a lot more hassle having to hawk a set of seats that he no longer has a buyer for. On top of that this type of thing makes everyone else that was in line behind this order for their custom seat wait even longer. Which up until a few weeks ago I might add included me, that is why.

awesome seats. I still can't get over how the $7000 sticker price necessitates a core charge.
