Default Where to buy a Z06 Battery Howell, NJ

Hi! I live in the area of Howell, NJ. Where is the best place to buy the AC Delco 90 battery? What is considered a decent price for the battery? Thanks!!

Don't know about NJ but I just inquired at a local United Auto Supply store about the price of the AC Delco battery and it was $86. Mine is approaching 5 years of age and that is about the time period most batteries start to go down hill.

Most GM dealers should be able to get you one. Best place really, as these are labelled Professional, and usually fresher stock. These are series 90 batterys, and not that uncommon, as my daily Pontiac GXP uses the same one. My Corvette now has an Autozone gold in it, and my Pontiac an Advance Auto gold. Put the Delco and the other two side by side, and all look 100% identical. What I like about the major parts store batteries, is top notch warranties, and lot's of store locations, open weekends. Be aware, changing out the ZO6 rear cubby mounted battery's lot's of fun. Plenty of threads on this.

Just go to sears. The international series works perfect. You will have to look it up. There is no platinum series for the Z06. I replaced mine 8 months ago.

Was he looking for batter fried or just grilled ?

All kidding aside, before changing your battery get a battery strap that goes over the terminals so you can lift the battery out without gouging your knuckles.

This is not some esoteric, rare or no longer made, piece of equipment. It costs about $ 10 and should be readily available.

Here's a place that sells one for $ 5.95:

Here's what it looks like:

Any good mechanic can get you an AC90. They should also throw in installation.

I'm running the AutoZone DuraLast Gold 90DLG in my Z06. $123 and it has an eight year warranty. There is an AutoZone store in Neptune, NJ, 11 miles from Howell. It has the vent that is required for your Z06.
