The Ranger method. Here's the link. All the info you need to keep your fluid like new...

I am now using Castrol SRF in my clutch fluid and it is holding up very nicely.

I buy the DOT 4 fluid from Wally World. I only change it now when it looks black/thick appearing. I have had zero issue doing this way.

Yes, turkey baster works. I use a 60cc syringe. Make sure you hold your finger over the tip of what ever your using to remove it. That fluid will play h3ll on your paint. I always use rag/towels and cover the fender to ensure this does not happen.

I always remove old fluid from the corner of reservoir. Don't know if it makes a difference or not, but I do not want the line to get air pocket.

Really - you never heard the term 'pump the clutch' before? Push the clutch in, let it out, repeat several times.

A turkey basterd is the preferred method. I saw a turkey basterd used to inseminate a cow when we went on a junior high school field trip to a 4-H club event. This guy put a glove on that went up clear up to his shoulder then inserted that turkey bastard. Those turkey basterd's are versatile. Clutches to cows.

Is use the dot 4 (prestone) from walmart. The Ranger method is how I do it. I use like a big *** ear dropper instead of a surenge. Suck out the fluid, wipe it out with a shop towel, wipe the rubber cap, poor new fluid back in, replace cap, and then I pump the clutch about 40 times.. I repeat the process until the fluid is clear after pumping the clutch. I check the color of my fluid all the time, almost everytime I fill the gas tank. I'm a bit OCD about it, but that's not a bad thing. I got my car used with very low miles, but whoever had it before me I guess never changed it, when I got it, it didn't like 7k rpm shifts, looked at the fluid and it was black.... (clutch dust.) changed it and no more problems. Went ahead and put a Centerforce DYAD clutch in it not to long after that too.. I full throttle shift at the track on bias plys, which is something the stock clutch doesn't like
