Default Tough calls to make!

I have a 2006 pristine Black Z06 coming by transport. Bone stock
down to the air filter and runflats! no mods!

I also have my 2008 Z06 with 41k with the A&A kit and other goodies like ARH headers ls9 clutch and LPE flywheel and dewitt's.
Plus it has LIFETIME XM Radio!
The plan was pulling everything off (mods) replacing everything back to stock. Reflash the stock tune. Then sell it!
Yes i'm telling the buyer in advance it was boosted just as
I did with my base 2008 that was bought new then blown.
Put back to stock then sold also.

But a couple things need careful thought. My 2008 Ls-7 is so solid!

The last oil change well over 1000 miles or so back. I over filled the tank found it when I checked 1 inch over full.

I was going to reduce it down. But didn't and drove it anyway and had some spirited runs. I just rechecked the oil. It's in the same spot on the stick. So it only does not use oil! It doesn't when over full under boost!

I also run it with-out the red engine covers and it has a very silent valve train. Plus it's blistering fast!
Ive had it since 2/2010 so I know the car. It really is a good car too bad it's red!
I'm pretty sure it has no issues. but it has no warranty either!

I was wanting mod the 2006 the same way as the 2008 but second thoughts are
This new to me 2006 has GMPP till 7/25/2015 which my modding will
kill. Is untested by not being driven much!
The 2006 like new with 7800 miles is also one sweet unit stock.
this car is 9.9-10. I could just add my new black spyders and michelin SS tires and have nice stock set-up.
Then i was going to blow out my 2008 for 40k. Which would give me the black I wanted instead of red for no cost. I don't care for the red but the red 2008 was the best deal I could find. When I buy cars I shop
the best deal and sometimes in the past I gave up color choice. NOW!
I'm rethinking on just keeping both and the warranty!

I guess you can learn that it is important to buy the color you want and not buy strictly by price.
You would not be going through all this crap if you had just bought the color you wanted to begin with.
Others can learn from your mistake.

Sell them both and get the bone stock, boosted, warrantied Corvette you were looking for...a ZR1.

As you know, you'll have much more than a boosted car and I'm sure I don't have explain that with a long laundry list.

Two Z06s ('06 + '08) are nice, but I wouldn't trade my ZR for what you've got...just sayin'

Since my Z is basically a weekend and occasional trip car, I could not justify 2 cars strictly for leisure purposes. If you drive your on a daily basis, I could see having 2.

I would say, keep both if you can, and do not touch the '06.

You'll have a blown, fast car w/ZR and the factory warranty (and GMPP if org owner has it)......Only boosted Z model I would keep in the shop is ZR....otherwise, the 427 is sweet, but if boosted power is what your seek, move to ZR.....IMO. Your can mod those to well over 700 hp....easily. JMO

what crap?
Oh! NO! No mistake! I totally knew I didn't like red! When I bought it!

That said I enjoyed the car!
It was still the best choice. I still would doing this even if the colors were different!

The Red 2008 Z06 with almost 42k on it! With over 2 1/2 years of service and it has some
character marks (chips) On the hood, nose and windsheild along with other areas, C-6's are known to chip.
Time to move on to another driver! Plus it's in a color I like this time! My 2008 is a 7-8 This Black 2006 is a 9-10
The 2008 is going to bring move than I paid for the 2006
with the GMPP till 7-25-2015.

I'm make great choice's when it comes to cars!
I will lose little on a 2008 I drove for over 2 1/2 years!
I paid 45,000 so If i get 42,000 which is good for what the 2008's are priced! I'll do well!
So Your judgement of my transaction is the mistake
here!

Don't think I would paint the 2008 to change color!
that would kill the resale! IMO!

Oh I think thats in the cards! I think I'll just letting it wash out till this winter!
And enjoy this pristine 2006. Sell the 2008! Then maybe when midwinter hits the ZR1 will come down. Even 80-100k was/is too much in my book
for what is a modded Z06! It was built off the Z-06 frame.
has bolt on stuff. Bigger wheels tires better rotor. but in the end is heavier. But I will enjoy one when i find the perfect Garage queen for half of list! The time is coming soon!

I don't know if you've noticed, but this guy seems to have the capacity of a "turd grader"...It's very difficult to read his posts due to his juvenile reasoning and horrible grammar.

I'm not hurt that he hasn't bought a ZR, I actually feel bad that you guys have to continue to endure his nonsense...

Your example doesn't support your post! Maybe you should read what
you posted! Or think about what your posting! Because your not making sense! I will have two when the second car gets delivered! Plus no car payment either both cash deals!
A stock (factory modded Z06) Zr1 will not take my modded Z06!
How can 540 rwhp keep up with 650rwhp! When the 650rwhp is on the lighter car?

This post was certainly not about being troubled about Corvettes!
It was posted so some of the good people of here can come up with suggestions ! Which it did! Lots of GREAT menbers on here!

Just takes a few to come in to these posts ! To try and stir trouble!

Sorry, I don't have any of the troubles you suggest. I can easily afford what I have, and I can also write a comprehensible sentence...
