[Z06] C6Z's in Hawaii?

i was in Kawaii 2 months ago for 9 days and only saw 1 corvette and it was a C5 beater
was in maui 2 times in the last 3 years and only saw 3 corvette total

My company came back to me 3 years later and made me an offer that makes sense now. So, it looks like me and my C6Z are headed to Oahu in the next few weeks. 
He's not really a car guy, but I wonder how he would handle all of this traffic I am reading about..
Anyway, if you go, good luck and represent for us! And be sure to post lots and lots of unbelievable landscape shots to make the rest of us jealous.

Read this whole thread, not so much interested in it for myself, but my Son is a NAVY Nuke and has an option to do a stint there..
He's not really a car guy, but I wonder how he would handle all of this traffic I am reading about..

same here my cars are weekend cars only.once you get here and all settled in check us out on a fri. or sat. night by pearl city walmart parking lot.we hang out right above by starbucks.youll see it at the end of the parking lot vettes,camaros,mustangs.after 2200hrs.it gets a little crowded with v8s and imports.see you around.

Check out SCCA autox events at the stadium parking lot roughly once a month. I have blast in my Z06/Z07. One of the few places you can push the car over here....legally.

Just saw this thread. My only advice: Find a residence close to your work place. Doesn't matter what part of the island that may be. It will reduce a lot of frustration. I was commuting on average a couple of hours on the weekdays, and leaving for work an hour earlier in the mornings to avoid an extra hour of traffic. Did it for 2 years, but luckily now I live only a few minutes from my work place.

You so lucky!! lol ... Hawaii is Hawaii..... Only been to Oahu... 4 times.. 2 Pro Bowls.. haven't been in 6 years... our dollar.. yikes.. 75 cents. when a barrel of crude is 40 bucks... thats when our buck falls... Man I remember 2007-2012 when our dollar was par and higher.

It'll be an adjustment, but its going to be fun! I'm just anxious to get my home sold back in So Cal so I can ship all my stuff over and buy something here to get settled.

aahh okay.just a heads up.Kailua/Kaneohe windward side rains alot.Hawaii Kai your close to Waikiki. your in the rich folks area.weather is nice.Im on the Leeward side of the island.youll catch on long enough on all the sides of the island like mauka and makai.Will see you then.
