Wheel lug torque spec?
Stupid question but so you guys use a torque wrench to tighten your lug nuts or do you just buzz em on? Does any one know the gm recommended torque specs?

And in a star pattern too.

Don't know if it helps or not, but I read somewhere to torque in 3 increments, 60-80-100. Not exactly sure what a 'star pattern' is - I just skip every other lug until all 5 are tightened.

Also, I, too, had heard about the 60-80-100 steps. Tried it a few times and found it to be more effort than it was worth - ultimately got 100 all the way around anyhow!

As I understand it, the star pattern is to basically tighten the lug that is directly across the hub as the one you are working on, repeat until complete. With a 5 lug hub you end up creating a 5 point "star", like you draw in grade school.
