the headers will give you more power under the curve as well. makes for more fun daily driving too. its not always about just peak power.

He can also offset some of the cost of the headers by selling his stock Z06 manifolds and cats to an C6 LS2 or LS3 owner.

Its actually easier if you have the whole setup from the manifolds back. So since you have the mufflers, that's even better.
You should be able to get
at least $500.00 if you sell them all as a package deal.

do the headers. Quick's dyno sheet should be proof enough. plus the labor is cheaper to get it done all at once.
Patrick did my build and is top notch. He wont sell you anything you dont need. He's actually talked me out of spending money at times when it was just sitting there burning a hole in my pocket! Port the intake and TB too. dont worry about the rockers unless you fall in that 07 range where there was an issue. have them mill the heads for a nice little bump in TQ. i'm making 575/525 on a smaller cam.

If you have good quality gasoline in your area, and know you are going to be burning 92, 93 octane, then should be fine.
If you are doing a cam, you may need new pushrods as a result of the milling and the cam.
If you have crap gas in your area, and the octane isn't what they're saying it is, and might end up getting a bad tank, then, I'd not worry about milling the heads.

What does gas quality have to do with milling the heads?
