Santa must have gotten my message saying that the ZR1 was lonely in the garage... because he left a Torch Red Rocket Sled next to it with a note that said "go ahead and be naughty, very naughty".

Thanks guys. Here are the dealer's photos in the link below. They are much better than the quick snaps I shot in the freezing (well for Texas anyway) cold.

Congrats, great looking car
There must be something in the air in Austin, I just traded my 09 C6 vert on a 09 C6Z black/ebony in San Antonio. Will be parked next to my 09 Dodge Ram and girl's 10 370Z Roadster.

Thanks a lot guys. I appreciate it! Congrats also to Bill on picking up his black ZO6 - looks mean!
I was wanting to buy the Cyber Gray 2012 ZO6 3LZ Carbon Package that Les Stanford has, but I needed to make a trade in to free up a parking spot and they are in Michigan... . To me, their car is the perfect C6 ZO6, but my garage is full of Corvettes (now) and my shop is full of Camaros. So, adding a vehicle was not feasible - I know, first world problem The 2002 Procharged, fully built Z28 that I had been trying to sell went towards this ZO6. Starwood Motors in Dallas really appreciated all the work and money that had been put into the Camaro and gave me a fair deal. Their ZO6 is virtually brand new with an in service date of Jan 28, 2012, so I headed up to Dallas. The Corvette turned out to be 99.99% mint so we did the deal.
The Torch Red with chrome spyders is really striking and a couple Corvette friends have already told me they are glad I didn't get the Cyber Gray since my ZR1 is SSB. They told me it's nice to have a flashier color to contrast with the SSB - and I'm starting to agree.
It's a nasty rainy cold day, so I just opened the garage doors and pulled the cover off the back of the ZR1. Sorry, but best I can do with the weather right now:

also, you need to come back in a month and talk about your opinions on the two cars - how they're different and what you like about them individually. Naturally, you will post several pictures when you do this.
