I think everyone here knows that the biggest stigma with corvettes (even more than interior quality) is that people think that they are for old guys. I think that might be true for the "regular" cars, but the Z06 seems to be different. So... How old are you guys?
I'll go first, I bought the car for myself for my 26th birthday.

Yeah that's me (age 71) in my 10 second "regular" car.

I was 58 when I got mine, two other folks in my club were as old, or older than I was. In addition two other folks in our club, the same age as I, have Callaway corvettes. One of the others, who had a Z06, traded it in on a ZR-1. So there are 6 folks, all older than 55, who had Z06's or even higher performance corvettes.

Funny thread.
I got my C5Z in 04 when I was 51 and my daughter said "dad, the only people driving Corvettes are middle-aged bald guys." (I'm not "bald"). Now I'm in a C6Z at 59.
Yes, looking at most drivers in Corvettes, they're middle-aged grey. But when someone says, "mid-life crisis?" I just say, "nope...mid-life money"
Heck, I've wanted one since the split window stingray came out.

Bought my first Corvette in 1966 when I was 17. The Z06 is probably my 20th Vette, and one of my all time favorites. It's true, most of the people in the car club I belong to are over 50; but most of the people you see at swap meets are grey haired. Makes me worry about the car hobby in general.

Bought mine at 28. Probably my first and last vette unless something really special comes along.

36. I don't care how old you are but you better be in decent shape and have enough flexibility to contort in and out of these.
Probably the most comfortable riding car I've owned so far.

So the truth is, every teenager with a vette eventually becomes an old man with a vette.
It has nothing to do with how cool you think you are. Simple fact, the vast majority are older. Just after their peak earning years, or midlife crisis. Nothing wrong with that at all.
"Me too I'm 16 I have a Corvette!"... why bother? There is always someone younger, someone cooler, someone with more money.

I love the Fat man ejection seat... Turn the car off and the seat goes back... I'm not fat but its a great feature... When getting in I sorta just fall into my seat...
