Well, this was my first time driving a corvette. I've owned an M3, 911, e85 Evo, and a few fast civics but this car blew my mind today. Wow. Let me just say my Evo is probably the fastest car I've owned, it made 370/370 on a dyno (when it's not broken, it's such a piece of ****, breaks all the time) but this vette felt like it was on another level. Much faster! What a pull this Vette had and it was completely stock. I'm so impressed by this car. I finally "get it" when it comes to corvettes. I can see now why people love them so much. You really have to drive one to appreciate it. I loved the gauges, the pull, the transmission, the breaks. The steering felt really sensitive but I still liked it. Overall, an amazing car. Now, I want to buy a C7 upon graduation. Just wanted to share my experience today. Have fun guys!

ill be moving from a 600whp evo 8 to a c6 z06. definitely a different feel. i will say though at least when the evo breaks its not to expensive to fix

I purchased a 08 Z06 about three months ago and agree with you. My past and present cars are similar to yours (Evo 8 currently as DD -160K miles, M3 before that) but I really smile every time I drive the Z06. I just wish it didn't have the Old Man stigma, even though I am pretty much one
