Default NEED HELP!!!! proving to warranty company

heres the deal. my warranty company is denying my claim after a blown engine.Theyre saying since i have raced it on the track it not covered because its not recommended by the mfg. to do so, but in the owners manual it has a part stating what you should do if you race the car plus in the warranty booklet it says nothing about not being able to race. except if it breaks because of racing its not covered

im looking for any documentation saying im aloud to race this car and or any documentation showing what not recommended by the manufacturer

BTW THIS A 07 CORVETTE ZO6

Why would you tell them it was raced? Do you have numbers on the car or something? You're probably SOL at this point.

Can we safely assume the company denying your warranty is not GM and this warranty is through a 3rd party?

I think you'll find it difficult to find any documentation to help you with your case.

My question to you though is how did your warranty company determine you were racing the car to begin with?

Mfg or outlaw warranty if outlaw you are sol. Is car at chev dealer do not use the term race with anyone. I had a friend whose 2007 blew up dropped valve. Is this what happened to you. His was done under warranty by GM his was under 36000 miles. No race #'s or slicks or tune on car when GM comes to look at it at Chev deale,r where are you located. Contact GM and mention you know about the z06's dropping valves from the forum. 1-800-222-1020 for GM then go up the food chain. Need more info from you to help.
One other note you catch more flys with Honey than vinger so be polite.

There are usually exclusions in most warranty language for racing.

Sorry, but you're probably SOL.

Was the car stock?

If so, they might do a goodwill repair.

This wasn't a Vehicle One warranty was it?

I ask because it is the only one I can think of when you mentioned GMPP and at the same time indicating that the warranty is not GMPP.

If they busted you off Facebook videos, then you are the latest of a few members in here to be denied warranty after their track activities were seen on the Internet.

Is your license plate in the video? I'm sure in the video it doesnt show your vin#. If you havent admitted to racing the car I would say you may have to get a attorney involved and tell them. To deny the claim they will need to prove thats the same car. Unless your car is uncanny in some way.

Good luck!

Ask them to prove that that race caused the current failure.

Did you try sending them the info on the dropped valve thread that is on here?

If it didn't blow at a race whats that got to do with a dropped valve that everyone on this forum knows is a problem.Contact your local area Chev rep first thru dealer.
