With a new Z06 at least a year or two behind the base C7, I think C6Z prices will remain in the current range for some time.

I looked at a very similar car to yours less than 1 month ago, for a friend who is in the market.
The car was at a local Chevy dealer, fully GM certified, 2009 JSB Z06, 2LZ with chromes, and 11,000 on the odometer. The car was sold and serviced at the reselling dealer. The owner had traded the Z06 on a 2013 ZR1. The Z06 showed very little wear (interior) and paint was great.
The Chevy dealer is located in Silver Spring, MD and listed the car at $51K. My friend and I test drove the car, and while he slept on the dealer's offer ($50K with a GM extended warranty and 2 years free service included), the car was sold to another customer for about that price (turned out the car sold at $48.9K). Also the car had four new factory GoodYear runflats.
Since you are located in NOVA - DC metro area, if you decide you are selling the car, send me a PM.
Thanks and best of luck with the car.

bought my yellow 08 z roughly 5 months ago from a dealer 5100 miles for 49,900 then decided to add the gm extended warrenty and service plan for around 800 ( cant remember exactly ) think they first offered it for around 3000 and i kept saying no. lol it was a all day event to get the car for what i payed for it but regardless...im sure i could have found a little better deal elsewhere but it was 50 miles away from home and with the low miles, pretty much like having a new car for 30-35k off sticker : ) happy camper

I bought my 08 last month from another forum member. 19k miles 2lz black/black for 42k. New tires and some extras included. Some deals are out there for the patient but the car is definitely worth more. I would say in that color and miles 47k should be doable IMO
I say keep it!

Two weeks ago I bought a 2008 Z06, black, 15k miles, stock, for 44k. The auction value on it at the time was about $43,500. I couldn't really have gotten a better deal than what I got.

IMO prices for Z06's have gone up a bit since the launch of the C7. Many thought the LT1 would come out with a HP rating similar to the Z06. This was the case with the C5 Z06 at 405 HP. The C6 came out at 400 HP and the C5 continued to decline in value. When the C7 came out at 450 HP, the C6 Z06 at 505 HP went up in value a little. The Z06 still tops the C7 while the C7 tops the C6 base and C6 GS. I would stay at $49500. My 2c. Bill

Bought my 08 red 3LZ w/ 5400 miles from private owner for $50.5K in july 2012. He was asking $54K and it was for sale for 3 months. I couldn't tell it wasn't a new car. I am happy with the deal.

My local Chevy dealer has a 2008 certified yellow one with 9,000miles . Asking price is $46,900. It is nice and they had it over four months. If you really want to sell your price is to high. According to another dealer friend, some dealers are stuck with C6cars that they paid too much for. Now it is getting worse, that is the honest truth. GLWS though, I am being for real but everyone has to try and then put up with the lowballers.
