What is the correct stock idle speed for a C6 Z06? I drove a 2010 Z06 today that idled at 600RPM. That seems low to me (My C5 Z06 idles at 800RPM)

I think 675rpm or so.

My 2013 idles around 550 to 600, not sure instruments accurate, but it feels low

My 07 idled around 650 to 750???

apparently gm doesnt think so... i think they know a thing or two about their engines.....

For what it's worth, my '12 LS3 dry-sump idles right at 600 & has since new.

Thanks for the very helpful answers guys. Um, Ryne, I am unfamiliar with the C6 Z06.............that's why I asked I asked these knowlegable guys

BTW did I mention that I also drove a Mongoose Grand Sport replica with a cage. The cage did NOT have a removable door bar. Do any of the Forum members have an easy solution to entry and exit of a GS coupe without a removable door bar or wheel?

both my former '09 LS3 car, and my current LS9 car, idle at about 600 rpm (hot).

Just had my 08 Z warmed up today. It was arouund 600rpm.

My 07 appears to sit around 600rpm, as well. No mods.
