Default Looking to do my first oil change on my 2011 z06

My question is: can I use 4 rhino ramps and drive up or should I use 2 and jack the back up.

The second question is: will the car clear the ramps. Car is stock height but will be putting splitter and side skirts on. Anyone have any experience with these ramps?

Much appreciated fellow vette brothers!

I have a pair of rhino ramps but I have never considered driving any C5 or C6 that I have owned onto them. I am afraid of driving it over the ends which I have done with a Honda before. That's a bad day if it is a modern vette. I really don't think a C5 or C6 will clear and especially not a C6 Z06 or ZR1 as I have owned both.

Maybe laborious but my procedure for the past 12 years has been to drive the front and rear wheels on to wooden ramps that I have made to gain some ground clearance. I then lift the front of the car with a standard Sears 3.5 ton floor jacket with a 24" wide wooden lifting beam on top of the jack pad less cradle to lift the front at the engine cradle near the control arm bushings. Then I just simply place the rhino ramps underneath the front wheels but in the reverse direction. This is to keep the car from possibly being pulled backwards off toward the ramp incline when I pick up the rear. I then pick up the rear at the rear suspension cradle just in back of the diff. Then place rear floor jack stands at the rocker arm frame side rails for safety. Now I have the car fairly level and can inspect the entire bottom of the car as well as change diff and tranny fluids too if desired. JMHO.

This has been discussed many many times over the past 12 years that I have been here. A thread search should turn this up for you with lots of good photos as well. Good Luck.

Off topic, but, did you buy the car in your avatar?

Dealer in GA, if I recall? I was interested in the same car last year, but bought my SSB ZR1 instead.

That is the exact one! Would have loved to get the ZR1 but really wanted the 427 engine and figured I could always add the ZR1 goodies to it. Besides I couldn't afford the ZR1 and got a great deal on mine. Would love to see a pic of yours! Curious to know how much yours was. PM me if you don't mind.
