Default Hawk Brake Pads on Sale- Best price PLUS Free Shipping!

We have Hawk Brake Pads for the C5 and C6 Corvette on sale. This includes the following compounds-
  • HPS- Better performing than stock carbon based pad
  • Performance Ceramic- My personal favorite, these ceramic pads perform about the same as HPS, but have very low noise and dust!
  • HP PLUS - This is a high performance, aggressive carbon compound racing pad designed for track use. It should not be used on a daily driver because it is noisy and hard on rotors.
You can order these off our website at the link below. Also note that all orders over $100 get FREE SHIPPING! If you have questions, call us @ 443-730-9428!

What is everyone going with on their Z06's one piece or 2? Any advantage of one over the other?

Great question, I am at near the point of doing front rotors/pad myself.

I went 1 piece less work to change (maybe I'm lazy) and I was told they would be quieter.

simple. ease of installation. The padlets can be a P.i.T.A.

Once I overcame the fear of dealing with the Z06 brake assy it was a breeze! The hardest part of the job was modifying my crossmember support on my jack....and of course the tedious process of putting the front tires on blocks before being able to get the jack under the front! No more messing with dealers who (in my case anyway) torqued the lug nuts to over 200ftlbs. Saved a bunch of money too! I used the Hawk HPS ceramic pads <$300 and rotors from Autozone $65ea. No more $1,500+ brake jobs from the dealer and no doubt about when the rotors need to be replaced as I picked up a micrometer in the process. Happy happy day

I really don't think the padlets were any more difficult to install than a 1 piece. I stayed with the padlets because I am confident in the Z06 engineering and figured there must be a good reason why they used them
