427 question, not sure where else to post
I need your help!
My 2013 427 was recently supercharged with the edelbrock SC. Everything ran great and never had a check engine light on for 2500 miles. That is until recently, lately from time to time my engine light will come on and my dash will show a "service traction control system". During this time the car is running rough and feels like its misfiring.
It will do this until I turn it off. Sometimes 5 minutes or hours between re-starting it is required to get the car to run right but when it is running right it is like nothing was ever wrong.
Has anyone seen this?

First of all let me say it must be nice to have a new vert. I don't understand the S/C with a 11.1 compression ratio but what the heck. Its hard to determine if the wires are bad just by looking at them. There pretty fragile and even a cracked ceramic sheath on the inside can cause a misfire. Time to have a mech look at the car....hey...you can afford it.

Check for any stored codes. If you don't have a code reader, major chains like Autozone will check for you.
Or take it to the shop that did the install.
If the codes indicate a misfire on a particular plug, make sure that plug boot is fully seated.

I am a torque junkie. This is not my first vette or convertible. I sold a 2010 twin turbo GS to get this one. I love the 427 but as always I need more pull, I guess its a sickness. I'm only pushing 5lbs of boost and I dont have any plans to push more boost, although I will add headers, head work and a cam this next winter.
Yes, I't be at the service department this week. I hope it is something as simple as plugs / wires.

I would love to take it to the shop that did the install. Those guys are great but they are in Alabama and I am in NE PA. I'm just going to drop it off at the dealership and listen to them figure ways out to rip me off due to the supercharger.

One that might be willing to work with the shop in Alabama to help you with this matter.
I would be real leery of taking it to a dealership.
Isn't ECS in that neck of the woods?

I moved my post to forced induction. If anyone wants to help here please do, I will keep an eye out and thanks.

It is probably not an install issue if it ran great for 2500 miles.
I would search for other reasons the Service Traction Control comes on.
I supposed a plug could have backed out, or a wire cracked.
More than likely it is an unrelated issue. A speed sensor can cause this. Wrong size/mismatched tires can cause this. Stainless steel brake lines can cause the sensor to act funny. Bad ground...etc etc.
The codes will lead you towards the issue.

They are. Thanks, I did not think of them. I'll see if they would be willing to help me out. I agree with you about the dealership. They could easily screw up things worst and or rape me in troubleshooting charges.

The only mod at this point is the SC. I planned on more this winter but I'm just trying to enjoy it as is for now.

Might, be looking for loose connections and/or oil build-up. From what I've read over the years concerning MAFs, they're pretty delicate so it doesn't take much to cause one to act-up resulting in lousy (rough) performance.
OTOH if it IS a 'failing/bad' MAF, probably need expert's guidance as I do not know what diagnostic are invloved.
