Default Dirty Lyle?
"dirty lyle" comes up on the display when I start the engine, what does that mean? ( thought that was a nick name, only ;-) )

Seriously, the previous owner put that in (probable nickname). That field is available to the owner to put in whatever they want.

My Z06 said "Driver 1" I just went conservative this time with " Toms Z06"

Take the car in for service. Your lyle needs to be cleaned.



Go to the personalization settings in the DIC. You'll be able to change the name displayed on start-up.

  • DRIVER DNA SAMPLING COMPLETE
  • NSA MONITORING LINK ESTABLISHED (current events )

Definitely potential for mischief there... If only someone else drove my Z so that I could screw with them!

For now mine reads "Prepare for Launch" but maybe it's time to get creative and cook up something new.
