My buddy has this Mast/Hilborne ITB setup in his Ultima GTR, made 749hp at 7800 with a 'big' solid roller cam but only 427 inches. He coulda gone way bigger because he also has the RHS block but figured he wanted hp and rpm vs torque in a car that weighs 2100 lbs. (aka. 2.80 lbs/hp)

Cheers, Paul.
The Harrop was very impressive to say the least. Tuning VE style with Harrop' tune and 5 of ours couldn't match our trio. Very surprising to say the least.

We burned through $1000 in R&D on this setup counting the LS1 style injectors, which are available.

Thank you, Jim.
Had I read this thread more carefully (post # 48 and # 50), I could have answered my own question. LOL.
Your reply to me triggered two additional questions though.
In post # 48 you answered 'New Katech C6.RS coil packs save 2lbs vs. stock.'.
  1. New, is that the reason that I can't find these coil packs in Katech's online store?
  2. Are LS3 coils required for these coil packs?
Thanks in advance again.

They're not new, rather old. After the C6RS program ended and we had overstock of these coil brackets we had trouble selling them. Once they eventually ran out the slow sales confirmed that it was not something we wanted to continue production on. Jim wanted a set so we made one for him.

Great project love N-A set ups so simple so effective, hard to imagine Fast LSXR intake could outperforms Harrop ITB set up, happy to learn and save the difference.

Question how these car came to 2,7xx lbs. weight that's awesome.

Can you list weight savings changes, thanks.

The LSXR only added +10 HP, the Williams TB +4. Our Super Bee CF112 with tuning +35 HP.

This is another Katech Build with the same Halltech/WP102/LSXR combo.
We designed our Super Bee around the throttle body when it first came out:

Halltech ULZ700 driven by Cadillac Racing, Johnny O'Connell at the 2014 Katech Track Attack:
Johnny O: "I've driven lots of Corvettes over the years, but one that really stands out is that which is owned by Jim Hall. Every aspect of the car screams performance, and does so in a truly civilized manner. Extensive commitment to losing weight, combined with big horsepower and a very balanced chassis make it one of the best street Corvettes I've ever had the pleasure to drive..."
Another Katech build with the Halltech Super Bee CF112. This one is a Katech record, owned by Ron Hopkins:

I saw this car in person at the track attack and I have no words for how impressive of a machine it is.

I would have given anything to have a gopro seeing Jims Z rounding corners at track attack at speeds that my brain could not comprehend. Johnny O is simply amazing to watch. he was in my rearview, then he was gone!!!

How about John Heinricy at the Auotbahn?

It is on our website front page.
