Should know this morning as the motor is getting torn down. Id say a bearing. It was fun while it lasted! Was looking forward to day two and the Michelin slicks for a good lap time.

You have the Lingenfelter dry sump tank, right?

Sorry about the misfortune. Did it just lock up?

Yes and no. Dropped oil pressure down to around 20psi at 6k rpm's. Car would run just fine otherwise. No ticking, but could tell a difference at startup. Starter had a tougher time spinning it up.

Not good. Yeah, I tend to agree with you. Sounding to me, from what you describe, like it may have spun a bearing. You'll know for sure what happened soon though.

Best of luck getting it back up an running.
