Default 2008 Z06 Plug Unplugged Tranny

Went under my car for the first time since I bought it and saw this plug that was unplugged on the side of the tranny, not sure if it the cags plug or not. Only got 2 pics, but it's the side of the transmission on passenger side, if you look from rear of car.

Don't know half to get someone behind my car and check. Not sure why that disconnect. Had axle exhaust installed but don't think they unplug that plug on the tranny to install the exhaust.

The CAGS solenoid is on the driver (left) side of the tranny near the rear of the tranny and up rather high as I seem to remember having installed three CAGS Defeat resistors on past M6s.

If it was the CAGS plug and unplugged without anything inserted into the connector there would have been a code set and you would have had a CEL. The CAGS defeat plug or a resistor are plugged into the open connector at the end of the harness to keep the CEL from lighting.

just plug it back in, it should be anyway. and you can check your lights yourself. put in reverse with the engine off, key/button in on position. accessory/on. the go take a look. easy. and yes, they might have unplugged it to install the exhaust. sometimes guys do it for just a another 1/2 inch clearance and to help avoid breaking it.

Ok Thank You. I forgot to add that I also had my oil pan gasket replaced, that same day too. The guy that had it before me, had to install the cags because I can always shift into second, just though he unplug it and didn't bother to protect the plugs from dirt and grime and install cap protector for the plugs.
