If you got all the old oil out you should be set. Check the oil level with the oil at 175* to confirm it is at the proper level.

Many of us put in about 1/2 quart less than called for and top it off after checking the oil hot (5-20 minute wait).

Thanks AzDave47! Well both drain plugs were emptied so Im assuming it was completely drained filled oil filter, put rest of 5 quart jug in then 3 more individual quarts. When I got home though I checked the oil after about 8 min and it was above the top dot. Hopefully its not overfilled though....

Run it for 5 min let it warm up then pull the dip stick it shouldn't be over the last hole. But it should hold 8... 8.5 9 if your beating on it at the track. Aldo by a catch can it does miracles.

You'll be fine! I've done over 24 oil changes on my Z and used the EXACT same amount.

I'm going the 1/2 qt less with my switch to RP. If not you may see oil in the intake....I did.

Don't pull the stick right away after shutdown or you might get a FALSE reading. Per the manual, you need to wait at least 5 min but no more than 20 min to check the stick. I'd wait about 10 minutes.
