Great! Hoping not much longer. Even though the P 40 is my favorite I know they will always make a wheel I would want.

Wow! Just when I'm sure nothing could look better than P40's HRE comes up with these freakin 101"s. Their ok I guess. I mean you can give me a set if you want. It would be like free advertising on my vette. Think it over.:

HRE Classics Series | Monoblok

Since1978, HRE Wheels has been a leader in the three-piece motorsports and street performance wheel market. More than three decades later, wheels and vehicles have evolved, but enthusiasts are still in love with many of the retro styles seen on legendary sports cars from the past.

HRE has taken a look back at its history and selected five styles to refresh with a modern twist.

Introducing, the Classic Series. Now available in Monoblok.

Styles

The new Classic Monoblok line debuts with five new styles including the 300M mesh, the 301M split 9-spoke, the 303M 13-spoke, the 305M 5-spoke and the 309M 19-spoke. The Classic Monoblok line is available in diameters ranging from 18 to 22 inches and widths ranging from 8 to 13 inches.

Features include three conical profiles with clean and simple spoke designs that highlight the style of wheels and cars before the modern era domination of automation and electronics.

This simplicity in the designs also allows HRE to offer these wheels at prices that are significantly lower than their complex designs.

The Classic Monoblok Series is load-rated up to large sedans and most CUVs such as the Porsche Macan, Volkswagen Tiguan and BMW X3.

I just received a C6 wide body (2013 GS) P40SC tinted brushed clear wheel and PS2 ZP tire setup from Gerry and I must say that he was a pleasure to work with.

For most, upgrading to HRE wheels is a sizable investment. Gerry functions as a true wheel/tire consultant. Most importantly he is a good listener, meaning that he forms an idea of what the customer is looking for and then steers you in the right direction. This is paramount to ending up with a satisfied customer. Satisfied customers are a necessity for running for a successful internet-based business.

For me buying the HRE wheels was an 18 month process that was initiated when I purchased the vehicle new. After initially talking to Gerry I decided that the time to upgrade would be after wearing out the OEM tires. Because the wheels are pricey, I took the time to visit HRE in San Diego during their 2013 Open House and after touring the plant and seeing how the wheels are made, I decided that the HRE product is well worth the price. When the time came to upgrade, I contacted Gerry and we renewed our discussions.

Gerry is very responsive and upbeat in addition to being a wheel expert. Shipping went without a hitch. Wheels For Less pricing is the lowest I could find. I would highly recommend considering Gerry if you are in the market for a Corvette wheel upgrade.

What is your lightest 19" or 20" ZO6/ZR1 wheel? My stock 20" ZR1 wheels and tires weigh 68 lbs and I'd like to consider a lighter wheel for my drag radials and track tires. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

P.
