Melting Slicks
Auto Zone has a 5year Duralast Gold T5 which is a direct fit. 810 CA / 650 CCA, and has a handle for installation/removal for $130
I beleive these are made by Johnson Controls.
Plus you can always find AZ coupons online.

Just did the same one. Run them in my C5 and C6 Z's. Good service from them

I put an Odyssey in my '12 about six months ago. The PN for the C6 Z06 version is PC1200-MJT.
It was a quick/easy bolt in. Odysseys don't need a vent, so you just tuck the vent hose down on the side and not worry about it.
I also have Odyssey's in the other three Vettes and in all but one of the drivers. I've been using them for a number of years and the two features I like the most are faster cranking speeds, especially on cold weather and their durability.

I have a 08 and it still has the original battery. I figure it may go at any time. I probably will go to Auto Zone get one when the time comes

Odyssey batteries are the most reliable (military-grade AGM), but are heavy. I'm getting a PC1200 as soon as my standard lead acid battery dies.
Lithium ion batteries are the lightest, but by far the most expensive ($1000+). Not too sure on reliability for these.

Well my $.02 .... I love Interstate batteries. I have them in all my cars. Florida heat kills batteries and the Interstate seem to last longest. I have a 24V military truck that just sits .... those batteries are 6 years old and it cranks first time every time.
