HELP ---- Passenger window ... alignment
Passenger window is giving me fits.
The alignment somehow slipped way off....
I can adjust the back tilt up/down to try for alignment with weather strips, but the entire window is too far forward.
It does not want to slide backwards in the track at all. Feels like it has a pivot near the front of the window.
The instructions in the shop manual simply don't work to get any adjustment at the front edge. It's jamming against the front weather strip so there isn't a prayer of closing the door with the window up.
Also, the window won't go all the down, acts like it's hitting something
along the front bottom edge. Only goes down about 75%.
Suggestions??

Burning Brakes
Have you taken it apart all the way down to the clamps that hold the glass in? There is some fore / aft adjustment in there should be 2 13mm nuts that get loosened. If you bring the window up mid position it should make it easier

While the manual does say "clamps", I can only see one clamp at the rear of the window. That is a 13mm nut, I've been working with.
But it seems to talk only about the clamp at the rear.
Found front clamp -- had to pull off other sight hole cover under froint of window.
Thanks...
