Haha... The valve issue is a matter of simple logic and understanding. Anyone with a reasonable amount of intelligence comes to the same conclusion on that matter.
And here I was thinking we were persons of extra-ordinary intelligence
Of course if you are right, then you know were that puts the forum gurus on the intelligence scale
But then anyone with a post count of nearly 27,000 clearly hasn't done much else in life than be an internet keyboard jokey
You did! It would have been easier to just quote your post and say, "this". Haha
Here is a picture before I installed the side skirts.
And one after I installed the side skirts.
LOOKS BAD A$$!! I need to get the ball rolling on the Z. Contemplating if I should get ZR1 wheels and doing the vinyl myself or have some else do it. Essentially it boils down to show mods first or go fast mods first.
Do what he did OP.

Thanks!! I went with show mods first just due to how fast theses cars are in stock form. I have already put a haltech CAI on the car and purchased a set of kooks 1 7/8" headers which will be installed this winter when we pull the heads and do a cam swap.
A buddy of mine helped me do the vinyl, not going to say it was easy but it was worth doing to save the money.

Thanks, I purchased the side skirts from RPI, can't remember the price but you can find them here on the forum.
When I peeled the plasti dip off the wheels the polished wheels looked out of place with all the black accents and black roof. You will also noticed all the emblems are plasti dipped as well.
There seems to be a ton of folks that love the black wheel look. My used VY came with the black wheels when I bought the car and I hated the look. To me and it's just my opinion the cars need either polished or chrome wheels. There's just not much contrast on the cars, but the wheels can make the car come to life. It's even worse at night with black wheels as the wheel wells look completely empty. Kinda has that car on jackstands and tires were stolen look. Keep the polished wheels.
IMO, the Z06 is too classy for that plastidip junk. If you want to do it...do it right. And any color is better than chrome, but black always looks good.
I had a spare set of stock Z wheels powdercoated black...gives the car a serious look.
Sorry to raise this from the dead. How did all of you color the center cap on the z06 wheel? Did you just paint match it, or did you buy new black caps?
