just curious how it would look. I came across someone offering me a great deal on an 08z. Ill be honest and say the headlights are the main reason I haven't considered a c6 yet. I just cant stand them its just personal taste.

Can anyone PS c7 lights on a c6z for me please.

Is this a joke? Majority of people hate the C7 taillights which is why GM was considering a redesign of the C7 taillights. And now you want to defile a C6 with that travesty?

haha a little late in my reply but god no.. Im one of the biggest haters of the c7 back end. I wont buy a c7 because of it. Maybe if the c7z is much more aggressive it may work but not on the base c7.

I know the headlights are probably not possible, but I think the c6z would look killer with the new headlamps. I know carbon hoods can be made to work and re-laid around a new shape, not sure about the bumper or fenders.

I have a few buyers ready to take the motor in my 93, and a buyer pressuring me from overseas to sell my c4zr1 I just built.. so im just entertaining the idea of a c6z... As usual.. slammed on HREs and while not in the budget, a destroked 8500-9000 rpm ls7 would be oh so sexy.

I'll subscribe to this thread--- interested too. Headlights too boring on my C6Z- thought about tint, but imagine sooner or later someone will develop a new swap out with LEDs, etc...

There is no saving the back end of that car. Plus performance wise I would much prefer a c6z and follow through with a high rpm destroked ls7 solid roller.

people do sell LED inserts for the C6. I just got black headlights for my car and was happy. Sure if you have the money you can pay a shop to custom fit c7 lights.....

I think putting the headlight units themselves on the C6 would totally screw up the design of the car. I also don't think the conversion would be cheap. Basically you would have to convert the wide C6 fender to adopt the C7 light unit which is made for a narrower fender with a peak in it. That would take a lot of cutting and filling to get the fender shaped so it wouldn't look like an atrocity. On top of that you would have to fore go the current carbon fiber front fenders and go with GS fenders that would be easier to modify.

Buy a C7.

How about adding the "smiley" grill to the C6 as well ?? Sorry, I have tried, but still can't warm up to the c7 looks. Especially the rear end !!!! I'll keep trying because I love Corvettes.

I would like to see a PS as well. The front end of the C7 is awesome - by far it's best angle.

Although realistically the C7 lights would not fit on a C6 without an assload of money and time.

Console yourself in the idea that the C6s rear end is not a design train wreck like the C7s.
