Hawk DTC 70's for everyday use??
Wondering if I should keep the DTC 70's on for regular street use or should I just keep them for track use?
Swapping back & forth from stock padlets to the DTC's is no big deal.
I only get to the track about once every other month and the car is not a daily driver.
WHats everyones thoughts on this?

absolutely not. Besides the fact that they will squeal like crazy, they are tough on the rotors. More importantly though, the pad compound is designed to be most effective at high temps. Temps. you'll never see just driving around town.. I know its a P.I.T.A switching, but only use the 70's for there intended track use only.

I agree with the above statement. The DTC 70 is harsh on rotors and the dust is corrosive.

I had DTC 60s on my other car and they were tough on rotors, their dust got gross when wet, and made plenty of noise when driving around the street.
They still had good bite when cold though, was surprised, but better than whatever street pads I had on at the time.
One other benefit of the DTC60s is that sparks fly out of the wheels when going hard on the brakes at night. It was pretty cool.
