Z06 possible problems
I have a 2006 Z06 with 22,000 mi and am thinking of purchasing both the B&B Fusion exhaust and the Halltech Super Bee air intake.. What possible problems can I expect if any with these two mods. My car is completely stock and factory tuned. Any advice and suggestions would be appreciated.

I think he meant he should get a tune after a CAI swap in order to be a "proper" install. I'm not familiar with the MF103. But usually, a change in MAF housing diameters will require a small tweak in the MAF transfer curve to avoid codes and changes in fueling conditions. However, if the MAF housing diameter is the same as stock (and no new bends in front of the MAF element are introduced), then tuning is not needed.

i have the MF103, no tune. and no codes. and yes I'm aware i will get more out of a tune, just haven't got around to it. but OP, the hall tech shouldn't give you any problems. and an axle back shouldn't throw codes either.

Shouldn't have any problems except a constant smile on ur face after ur done. I would consider headers with the b&b and a tune and really wake that thing up..

Thanks bill, I should have been more specific. Any cai (not just Haltech) or stock intake can throw codes if it has an air leak. I was trying to tell the OP to make sure both of the 4 inch hose clamps and filter housing is tightened properly.
