Default Customer gets great gains from LS3 Radical 102 porting

Listen to what this recent customer says about his Radical 102 ported setup on and LS3:

“Just an update on how the install went, added the following nick williams throttle body and the ported LS3 intake along with meth injection and tune.
Baseline car made 484 RWHP and 434 Torque
After tune car made 521 RWHP and 466 Torque.
Showing some nice gains into the ported LS3 heads with LG G6X3 cam and ARH 1 7/8.”
Brian – Flower Mound, TX – LS3 Radical102 ported intake manifold & Nick Williams 102 throttle body.

Does the intake come sealed well because the fast intake are notorious for not being sealed correctly..so my question is do you guys epoxy seal them and how much...

Radical 102 porting stands up well in force induction setups. The integrity of the manifold is maintained. They are not cut apart and reassembled with epoxy in the porting process. When the posts are removed inside the plenum, steel plugs are threaded into the base and epoxy is only used to ensure they don't thread back out. On the throttle body opening, the stock throttle body gasket is eliminated to enlarge the opening to 102mm. We have created a 102mm gasket that goes between the throttle body and the intake manifold to create a good seal.

Can you post some pics of the work done to the plenum and runner area. I assume its port matched as well? Are the runner length left stock or are they shorten a bit?

If they are shorten, how much RPM is the curved extended?

Thanks! Looking forward to more info.

Here are some more pics. Yes, we port match for no additional charge if you provide info on your heads or a template. We leave the runner length the same (not shortened), however we remove material in key areas and smooth transitions so as to create better airflow.

Any back to back comparisons from a factory FAST 102 w/ NW 102 TB on an LS7 to your ported FAST 102 w/ NW 102 on an LS7?

No direct comparison to be able to show at this time on the LS7. However, our Radical porting on the LS7 shows about the same gains as on the LS3 and the Radical 102 porting on the LS3 with the NW102 tb is picking up 23 RWHP. This is about the same as the FAST 102 on the LS3 with the NW102 TB at a much lower cost. I expect your LS7 to have similar gains.

Default Porting is our business and we are good at it!

Porting intake manifolds and throttle bodies is Peak Speed Shop's primary business. We do a lot of them and have gained a good reputation for high quality work and performance.

Our proprietary process of "Radical Porting" stock LS intake manifolds gains top results! In terms of cost per horse power gained, this is one of the lower cost modifications you can do. A weekend mechanic can easily do it in their garage.
Here is a link for step by step instructions that you can use on most LS cars:

Same question as above. Also how about a direct comparison with an MSD Airforce intake setup?
