[Z06] Anyone else waiting for Trickflow Genx 260 heads?

However, perhaps TRSCobra was speaking only to the exhaust valves... I imagine he will be back to confirm. In any case, I'd think you could probably get pretty much whatever valve you wanted, albeit perhaps at a custom order option.

Perhaps the same people that go backwards and buy 100 gram solid SS exhausts

$3100 PRCs are by far the cheapest aftermarket titanium intake valved head on the market, by over $1000. Trick Flow is not know for low priced heads, not saying they're over-priced, but never the less.

When I spoke to Trick Flow several months ago (after the Sema(?) video was posted), I was told the intake were Ti and the exhaust were hollow stemmed stainless. I asked who the manufacture was, but the engineer did not know for certain. Seeing how they are using PM guides, stem coating is quite important. If they intend to run Ti, then seat material is equally important due to coating used on the Ti valve seating area.
Rambling aside, seams as if TF has been telling stories with different endings. It would probably be best to sit back and watch the show for spell before getting your panties in a wad.

Just called again to confirm that both exhaust AND intake valves are to be solid stainless.
They didn't have any weight information at the time, however.

Figure probably around $1100 to $1500 more for Ti intakes. That puts them in line with the rest of the group, excluding PRC.
Guess my assumption was pretty safe after all.

I saw the clip from SEMA on youtube... not sure how I missed their booth this year. I wish I knew the price on those heads to help me decide if it's worth waiting. The video quoted valve sizes/types and flow numbers. Said they would be available in March but that me delayed now based on what I read in this post. If they are at or under $3k I would be very interested but then I'd really like to see them dialed in on a few cars to see some true rwhp results. - wait, didn't see the second page of this thread. If they are running SS intake valves I'd buy a set of factory LS7 heads for $1600 and have them ported.

I am looking into new GM OEM heads fully assembled with new rockers, pushrods and lifters then having a reputable machine shop check all the specs.
Can anybody guide me to the lowest priced vendor or wholesaler? A PM would suffice, thanks.

Since I'm new to this car and still learning, I've learned that the stock heads on a Z06 are pretty much the first thing that need to be "replaced" in the car. I was looking at PRC heads online as replacements, but I wasn't certain on the 265 vs the 285s. I knew Titanium was the best bet on them. So I searched them up on here and ended up here.
Is the consensus to wait for Trick Flow to come out with their maybes or should I just opt for PRC heads?
Edit: I will be getting 265cc's certainly.

Many of the so-called 'fixes' to the heads are a downgrade (heavier valves, dual springs) from an engineering point of view.
Porting the heads might get you 20 HP on top. Max. At a who-really-knows cost to low and mid range operation (talking condition of the fuel-air mixture, not gross flow).

WCCH ported OEM heads develop just as much HP as the PRC 265s, maybe a couple HP more too.
I say this in spite of having the 265s on my ride. I still like my PRCs, just saying...
