Default Anyone else waiting for Trickflow Genx 260 heads?

My valve guides are out of spec, so I'm in the market for some new heads. The new trickflow's have caught my eye, but they aren't coming out for another month or two. Their rep on the phone told me it was because they were waiting on their valve supplier. So I'm patiently waiting...

Anyone else planning on running these?

Saw this a while back...love the comment around the 30 second mark about "correcting the geometry issues in the head".

That port, at 260cc, is no bigger than an LS3 head.

RHS has an LS7 head out that is already available. Raised port etc.

Trick flow was great back in the LS1 days but I'm thinking in the LS3/7 days with RHS, Mast, etc... The options out there are pretty good and I don't see a need to wait for trick flow to join the game this late.

I just think maybe the latest LS7 design will be the least likely to have any valve issues. The fact that it's a long-standing, reputable manufacturer making them, piques my interest even more.

And a set won't run me $4-5k like some MAST and RHS offerings.

Here is one more waiting for TrickFlow since SEMA. I don´t understand why they could have problem with valve supplier for month ?
No one heard any price ideas for this heads ? Is it worth waiting for them ?

Titanium/SS I believe. I don't think there will be any options. At least not right away.

Trickflow is great and I am curious to see what they can do.

They said they should be comparable in price to their GenX 255 heads.

If they are running a titanium valve they won't be close to the price point the 255 gen x's are

Called again for an update. Said they are about 3 weeks out from being available, the valves are solid stanless, and they should cost ~$2700 depending on the spring/retainer setup you choose.

Stainless intakes are worthless to us. Don't they have a titanium option?

Exactly!!! Who's going to go backwards and buy 120 gram solid SS intakes?
