They come with all stainless solid valves so you'll need to limit revs to 6K. You'll need to call Trick Flow to see if they have a Titanium intake valve option. The hollow stem stainless exhaust would be a plus too.

Wrong. A properly setup valve train will take solid stainless valves as high as you want to go.

You need some serious heads for that project. I suggest you contact a serious engine builder for advice and maybe even for assembling the engine.

GM makes a six bolt LS7 head, and Texas Speed/PRC makes one (you'll need a six bolt head for what you described). Also Brodix. There are others but the price starts going up quickly.

I have no idea what kind of cam you would need for such a build. At the very least you'll need to talk to a cam professional who can probably give you some advice on heads too.

I've never had that level of work done, so no, I don't have anyone I could recommend. You might ask over on LS1Tech.com, that forum is more oriented towards exotic builds like you are planning. For example: http://ls1tech.com/forums/generation...454-build.html

The Brodix heads with WCCH porting would be my choice.

Don't understand "cam shift".

I'd just get a set of GM LSX heads, bare, have them ported and install my own springs and valves. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/nal-19201806
