Default Track Video After Head Work/Tune

So I did a couple of track days this last weekend. Car ran very strong and smooth. Its not AutoClub Speedway where I can redline in 2nd, 3rd and almost 4th. This track is really a 3rd gear only and straights are too short to hit redline. The one place you can drop into 2nd is pretty much a waste of time unless you have slicks which I don't.

But for those that aren't too bored watching this stuff here are a couple of videos with data overlay. And I finally figured out (with a little help from my friend) how to sync it up correctly.

First video is where we popped into a little ricer race. And as you can see around the 7 minute mark that these race guys play for keeps. If I wasn't being extra cautious it could have been ugly. This was a slightly slower group than the RED group I run in but its still open passing, race like conditions.

Next video is where I got my PB on this track. This is the very fast crazy guys who have slicks. Stock Vette will be 6-7 seconds faster with slicks on this track. But I finally get a clean lap at the very end

I want to say I like the PSS better but this PB was less than .2 seconds faster than the NT05 which I ran last year. It was 10* cooler then and my oil/coolant temps were lower last year. Those NT05's had 4 track days on them and these PSS had less than 1 day.

I think if you look in the right hand bowl they were holding 1.2 -1.4 g

But I'm not blown away by how much better they are as everyone has been saying

If they last as long as the NT05 I will be happy since they then become my street tires. And driving bald NT05 especially in the rain is

Did you feel a big difference in the power in the seat? How about PB's? Did you beat your previous best laps?

I feel it more on the street. Its hard to tell on the track. I can't expect it to pull like a H/C car. A friend who has the same setup but with the Honker and 500rwhp said we were dead even when he was on my tail going down one of the straights. Only been to this track twice and last time was one year ago so it will be easier to judge when I'm on my local tracks. But yes, I did get a PB ..... the last lap of that second video.

Yes but some of them are setup with great suspensions, aero and sticky tires. And with a good driver they haul *** through the turns.
