Nice Viper sir!
When I was in the market and looking at Vipers I couldn't afford (still can't) a 2013 but that is the only year worth buying IMO. Before 2013 no: abs, traction control, launch control, no nannies... for me any year before 2013 is a death trap.
Question: I heard that the heat from the drivetrain is unbearable in the cabin after a short time... what are your thoughs?

That is a sharp Viper.

That viper makes the C6Z look really plain in comparison. Nice!

My Z was a real head turner that got lots of attention at local car shows but the Viper is on a whole other level. It's almost annoying how people slow down and try to get a closer look or take pictures while I'm driving. Kinda makes me feel like a rock star though.

LOL. The design is wicked as hell. I love all the curves that it has. I would definitely get 1 if I get a thumbs up from the wife, but I highly doubt she will.

We talking 2013 Z06 price with the Z07 package or a new Heritage 427???
Or we talking Z06 blow out sale price
Or we talking Z06 blow out sale price
Thanks!
In my assessment, the Corvette and the Viper are almost nothing alike. I'm not sure raw is the word I would choose as the Viper feels more upscale then my C6 Z. It does however feel much more animalistic. The sound of the side exhaust is intoxicating and the torque is incredible! The Z06 was easier to drive but not nearly as exciting. I cannot comment on the comparison to the C7 interior as the C7 Z06 hasn't been released yet and I've not been motivated to check out a base C7. I much prefer the new Viper interior to the C6 Z however. The "bang for the buck" question isn't as easy to answer. I do not believe the Viper is worth it's MSRP but at the prices they are going for now it was an easy choice for me.

Thanks again everyone for all the positive comments!
I was actually referring to MSRP for a loaded Z06 (similar to the one I traded in). With patient negotiation at numerous dealerships I'm confident others can acquire one in the 100k range.

Performance and interior, the Viper wins over the C6Z.
But the styling still goes to the C6Z IMO.
The Gen V is just a little too "circus like" (for me).
BTW, showing no discrimination to brands, I think the C7Z is too "ricer like" (for me)...

That is one beautiful Viper! One of the top 3 that I have seen to date.
I think the Gen V Viper looks much better than a stock C6 Z06. It takes a Good bit of mods and $$$$ for the Z06 to get close to the new Viper in the looks department (IMHO).
Now the great thing about the Z06 is the aftermarket options that do not exist for the Viper. Now if I could find a Gen V with the carbon package near me with a $15K discount I would pull the trigger. When I picked up my new Grand Cherokee last month they had 2 New Vipers on the floor. They were both marked down $10K off sticker ($110K & $115K). I offered $95K for the one after I secured the deal on the Jeep, but they would not bite. It is still in their show room.
My goal is to have both of these great cars in my garage one day soon.

Absolutely cool ride!
I was at a Dodge Dealer today that had 3 in stock. 2 of them sitting side by side in the showroom. I was dealing with the sales director on a Chrysler 300 my 90+ year old parents had bought. I complimented him on his vipers and the first words out of his mouth were, "I hate them!" I asked him why and he said they were eating him up in floor plan costs. I hadn't thought about that. This guys bonus depends on the New Car Sales Dept profits and if they are eaten up because the owner wants to have 3 expensive cars on the floor plan, the Sales Director is not a happy camper.
When you look at it that way I can see why they will deal.
By the way, yours is the best I have ever seen for a color combo. It actually beats the late 90's blue with white stripes car.

I've always loved the Vipers, especially the GTS coupe when it first came out. Always out of my price range though. You got a good one there. I hope you enjoy it.
