I have the 6.25 mufflers and i don`t like the drone.
The sound of the muffler on track is great but i can`t talk normal with the passenger when the engine is between 1100 and 1800 rpm.
The quality of the system is great and it is light and beautiful welded.
Over the 2000 rpm the drone will fade a way.
Alway`s driving in 5th is not a option for me.......

Sent werks a PM on buying the 6" mufflers but no response. I know LS7 bud just did the 4" mufflers and loves them. He said it is nice and quiet, but he is Canadian so we know they are strange and maybe crazy.

LS7, Katech torquer 110, headers, no cats, track car.
Burns 6.5 two stage mufflers.
Great quality and lite.
Serious drone up to 2200 rpm in any gear.
Great on the track. Not street friendly.

I actually went back to the 4.5" mufflers because I thought the 6.25" ones were too quite lol! Here is a brief promo video that they put together with some in car video of my with the 4.5" muffler so that you can hear the sound.
If you do pick up the 4.5" system and decide it's too loud for you let me know and I'd be willing to cut you a deal on my 6.25" mufflers as I'm not using them anyways and they are in virtually new condition.

My mufflers are the 6.25" . I love the sound and it makes great power.
It is interesting that the 4.5 mufflers are too quite. I may give Burns a call and ask them for 4.5" mufflers. Besides great performance I like them because they seem much easier to remove and install than the OEM or the Corsa cat backs I had befor the burns.

I do not know if you remember me or not but I had Burns build my system at the same time you had yours built. I had them angle cut my tips.

It must be half the weight and is easy on and off. I have no HP comparisons but it must make a few extra. I think Corsa makes the best cat backs for street cars. They control noise much better and still make HP better then OEM. WOT sounds great at The Glen. I have been told that by others as I pass.
The Burns sounds great but is louder but not too load than the Corsa.
I like the easy on and off because my Corvette is more track car than street car so removal when doing work on the car is much easier.
I just installed a new transmission and today my last part of the project is reinstalling the Burns Stainless exhaust.

Update: Two straight through 8 inch long SS resonators with SS scrubble installed in the x-pipe.
Drone is all but gone and sound is now 98db or less which is the limit at our local track (AMP)

If you want light and cheap I installed two Magnaflow off-the-shelf mufflers. $60 each and 6 lbs. That's 15 lbs less than stock for each or 30 lbs total. Yeah they drone.

Show me a 6 lb. stainless steel Magnaflow cat back muffler for $60.00 each that will fit a C6 Zo6 Corvette.

Not a C6 Zo6 in the photo. Not the same caliber as the 3" Burns Stainless Ultralight Race mufflers but they look great. How did you make them fit. They look like they have no resemblance to a C6 Corvette muffler from what I see on the Summit web site.

It is so A Z06. Its my car and I know what I have. Why do you think its not a Z06? No rear oil cooler that I removed? You can see the bypass line. I'm well under 3000 lbs and ran a 10.62 at 134 with a bone stock motor. Also pulled 1.34g in a turn. You can see my home made sway bar. I made them fit by cutting off the stock muffler. I could've just welded these back onto the exhaust pipe but decided to use flanges as you can see in the photo. This makes it easier to remove them if required. Again they are Magnaflow part # MPE 13239. I don't care if they don't look like a C6 muffler as long as they fit.
