More Track Time: No Haters Please !!
So as long as some of you want to keep watching me try to blow up my WCCH Stage 2 heads with SS exhaust valves I will oblige
This is the 6th track day and 7K miles since I had my heads ported. So this is with new guides. Springs, valves, etc now have 32K miles and about 21 track days.
First video has me going off.
Second video has me missing a shift Never did this before I think the heat (it was 100*)and going the opposite direction as we normally go will be my excuse. Anyways I missed 3rd and hit 1st but fortunately it was a slow spot on track and no over rev occured.
Also one of our real racers was warming up in this NASA HPDE4/Time Trial so I let him pass in a hair pin turn.
I have one more video that is rendering now with an instructor. The head of NASA promised me a free track day if his top intructor could not shave 3 seconds off my best time of the day. Stay tuned for this thriller .............

So if the wizard instructor could not shave 3 seconds off my best time of the day I was going to get a free track day
I get one clean lap at the end of the session with ambients at 102*, track slippier and the weight of a passenger. And I'm tired .. its a long day in the heat. So here is what happened ...........

Ticks me off to watch these vids. Why? because my junk is in the shop and I can't be out there with you.
Nice work
What do you use to get the telemetry in the video shot. Will it work with most any camera?

I use a GoPro camera, Aim SoloDL for data capture, and RaceRender to add the data to the video.

Great vids, this helps those of us going through withdrawal that haven't had a track day yet this year (snow just melted here recently!). I only wish I could get that many track days in, you're my hero. I'm itching to try out my new stickies.

I'm running the MPSS.
So what do you think about me losing that FREE track day on the last lap

Howie, Buttonwillow? Low grip surface? What tires?
Thanks for the videos and nice data display, too.

It was Buttonwillow config#1 CCW
Running my MPSS same as when we were at Chuckwalla. This was 6th track day on them. Rears are like new, front gettting pretty worn on outsides. I ran a little more air pressure than normal to see if they will wear better. I can't add any more camber.
