Here's my na Z06 at the nw street car event. Hoosiers and stock fatties up front. I was pulling 4 degrees of timing before I even left the line. Left side #93
There is some KR on the logs. Not going to racewars, as I'm hoping to get the retune tomorrow. If the tuner can't, I'll likely go to pacific and try for a 10 on this tune.

So I went back to my tuner and he leaned it out to around 12.8. Came in at 473whp and left at around 493 (forgot to ask for a printout), but I gained ~20whp across the entire powerband. Went to a track rental yesterday and pulled my best time ever.

Tuner says I should be making more power with the heads/cam, and I'm considering changing it out, but I'm going to see how it responds to full bolt ons first. If I get 560 or more on his mustang dyno with halltech/nw102/msd/arh, I'll keep this cam. if not, a BTR stage 2 or 3 is likely going in.

Overall, I can't complain too much!

Forgot to press record on my best pass, but this is a decent one. I started powershifting. Not sure if it's helping more than if I lifted the throttle or not, though.

Wow that's pretty lean if you're running e10. What fuel? I'm surprised it made that much more power just from leaning it out unless it was way off to begin with.

Yeah that's pretty rich. That's a whole point different. Makes more sense now I guess.

He had a bad WBO2 the first time he tuned it and it kept reading lean, so he kept adding fuel. He later replaced the sensor and reverted to earlier adjustments, but there must have been an error made. That's the only reason I can think of that it was so rich.

Default Clutch Master

So how did you blow your clutch master? Isn't that rare? How many miles? how did you know? Never heard of this one... Did you put in a tick? Cheers, d'Art

The master turned out to be fine. Turns out the stock disc with 28k miles exploded. I replaced the stock with a tick and the pedal was still to the floor, so I looked in the bellhousing and found a piece of the disc that broke off.

Power shifting usually causes more wheel spin, which slows you down.
If you can log a pass and it doesn't show wheel spin, then I'd say do it. If it shows wheel spin on the shifts, which it likely will, then I wouldn't power shift.
I never did on my passes.
